My work is fired quickly with a rush of flame, smoke and excitement. The fiery chaos of smoke-firing, using natural and chemical materials combined with elements of form and surface, create both fragile yet hardened objects from the earth. Various finishing methods are used combining both eastern and western Raku techniques to create intense and various surfaces.
