The simple reality of daily life has inspired my most recent body of work. The time I have spent alone, with family and close vaccinated friends during this endless pandemic has opened an artistic door for me. The home or garden or on the streets nearby have become my fascinating new subjects.
Living in a daunting world where our movements have been limited, I began to search for inspirations closer to home. I found them in the people and things around me and in the profound contrast between their loneliness and the comfort I felt through my connections.
